Objective and Limitations of Therapy

• Have your doctor confirm the clinical diagnosis by having a KOH examination of skin scrapings and fungal culture.
• Skin biopsy can also confirm fungal infection
• Select appropriate medication from:

-   Topical creams ie/ Loprox®
-   Nail lacquer: ie/ Penlac®
-   Systemic drugs ie/ Lamisil®
